Leadership development in both youth and adults are passions of the TBA.  Leadership opportunities provide another way of experiencing and living out the gospel.

So far the youth department has three leadership teams that provide the energy, creativiy, and drive for the youth ministries in the TBA.  They are the Outdoor Education Committee, The Youth Ministry Council, and the Chi-Rho Task Force.

The OEC was created by the TBA Board to oversee the camps, conferences, and retreats of the area.  The OEC meets monthly to review policies and procedures, monitor the status of TBA events, and set goals of how to improve these ministries to meet the needs of the area churches.  The current chair is Denise Ho and would welcome and feedback concerning the TBA youth ministries.  Click here to e-mail Denise!

The Youth Minsitry council is composed of fourteen youth and four adults from the Trinity-Brazos Area Churches.  The TBA Regional representatives and General Church Representatives from the area also serve as advisors.  This group in instrumental in planning and programming at the area level for retreats, camps, and conferences.  Every spring, the next year's council is selected.  For more information about this exciting group, you can download the YMC Design here.

The Chi-Rho Task Force plans the fall and mid-winter retreats for the junior high (6th to 8th grades).  This is a fluid membership team that varies for each event.  For more information contact Jeremy.
